Carlos Rossi is a misunderstood vampire playing a dangerous game. He is a coven leader under duress, inspires fear due to necessity, disguises kindness as cruelty, and has only one person he can trust in a world filled with enemies. His life is a delicate balancing act where the slightest mistake could destroy his painstakingly built charade, endangering the person he most wants to protect.
Fate sends in the dragon.
Gideon Carmichael III, Red Dragon, Clan Taren, has the world at his fingertips. He comes from the powerful ruling line of Dragonkind, is Heir Apparent to the Throne, has a thriving business, and is loved by everyone. He’d long since put dreams of his mate to the side, content to live in the present, surrounded by the ones he loves. He’d never imagined meeting anyone like Carlos.
Fate always has a trick up her sleeve.
The stakes are growing higher. Vampires are being targeted, enemies are becoming allies, and allies are turning into traitors. What difference can a bad boy vampire and a dragon Prince really make?
This book is not a standalone and is best read as part of a series.

I'm an MM Romance writer who believes that love should have no boundaries, in happy-ever-afters, that dragons are real…oh, and bacon; there’s always room for bacon.
My stories are romance with low angst, high action, fade to black or minimal sex, and characters who know how to kick butt.
When I turned 40, I bravely set out to learn martial arts and earned my 1ST Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo a few years later. I loved being a part of my dojang but had to stop after minor foot surgery. I found it difficult to spar and break boards as my bones hadn't been aligned properly and had healed in a way not conducive to contact sports.
In 2020, after a chat with my brother, I realized if I was ever going to write that book I always planned on writing one nebulous "someday," that I needed to do it now. So I jumped in with both feet (yes, the broken ones) and BAM! I published my first book, then my second 2 months later. The ride has been wild, full of ups and downs, with a considerable amount of learning (some very painful), but it's been one of the most exhilarating things I've done since breaking my first board in TKD.
I currently live in Alberta, Canada with my husband, two sons, four cats, and one crazy, energetic dog.
