Edgar Dempsey has been a Personal Assistant to Prince Roman for over three hundred years. He is a sophisticated vampire and a respected professional. He knows what he wants in life and expects any vampire he mates to appreciate the same things as him.
Fate shakes up his world.
Against all reason, Edgar finds himself visiting wolf packs, driving through the mountains, wearing (shudder) jeans, all while keeping company with a sexy, dominant wolf. This is not the life he planned.
Jackson Miller is a wolf shifter from the Alpha line. His father was killed under suspicious circumstances and now his brother, the pack Alpha, has vanished. Something sinister is happening in the shifter community; Alphas are going feral, wolves are dying, and now wolf pups are missing. The last thing Jackson has time for is a prissy mate who wouldn't know how to handle a strong wolf if he bit him. A sophisticated city vampire has no place in the country.
Fate is laughing at them both.
This book is not a standalone and is best read as part of a series.

I'm an MM Romance writer who believes that love should have no boundaries, in happy-ever-afters, that dragons are real…oh, and bacon; there’s always room for bacon.
My stories are romance with low angst, high action, fade to black or minimal sex, and characters who know how to kick butt.
When I turned 40, I bravely set out to learn martial arts and earned my 1ST Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo a few years later. I loved being a part of my dojang but had to stop after minor foot surgery. I found it difficult to spar and break boards as my bones hadn't been aligned properly and had healed in a way not conducive to contact sports.
In 2020, after a chat with my brother, I realized if I was ever going to write that book I always planned on writing one nebulous "someday," that I needed to do it now. So I jumped in with both feet (yes, the broken ones) and BAM! I published my first book, then my second 2 months later. The ride has been wild, full of ups and downs, with a considerable amount of learning (some very painful), but it's been one of the most exhilarating things I've done since breaking my first board in TKD.
I currently live in Alberta, Canada with my husband, two sons, four cats, and one crazy, energetic dog.
