This story is quadruple POV, well written, and a BDSM lite, shifter, gladiator reverse harem romance. I appreciated Astra’s focus and enjoyed the strength of her as an individual and within the relationship. I was amused by Javin’s choices which resulted in him feeling pressured into a relationship and yet also determined not to be left out. I enjoyed Simon’s character development and his work to recover from addiction and depression. I enjoyed Val’s enthusiasm for their potential relationship.

Astra is a Dragon Shifter Champion, concentrating on staying on top to honor her dead brother's legacy. Even after she is poisoned by the same drug that killed her brother, her sole goal is to be a champion. She has no time for a mate, even with the three men who love her and are trying to find a cure for her malady. Expect lots of fireworks and a HEA.
