About this ebook

When 10-year-old Mary Lennox’s uncaring parents pass away, her life is turned upside down. She is sent to live with her eccentric uncle Archibald Craven in his dreary country house, Misselthwaite Manor. Having had a spoilt childhood with servants doting on her, being forced to live in relative independence comes as an unpleasant shock to her, but she slowly learns to adapt. One day when exploring the grounds, to her great delight, Mary discovers the existence of a mysteriously locked, run-down walled garden inside the property and becomes determined to find a way inside and restore the garden to its original glory.
