They got me out in space with a ton of facts those awe-inspiring objects that aren't government drones anyway. Literally packed with information about everything else out there besides this. Backed up by everyone's favorite space agency among other collaborations. Very smooth layout of the UI visually those graphics were art. just a rather neat way of navigating time as well if you were ever curious about sightings that were documented in the past. It works for me because information is a drug.

It's really not helpful unless you have the moon out. And only if it's close to what you want to identify. I think the app needs to have a feature for city people where you can mark your position and orientation based on GPS and have the objects align to that. Otherwise I have no idea what I'm looking at. Another way would be to point at the moon and any bright objects and orient they way.

The position of objects depends on the location that has been selected in the Star Walk 2 settings, as well as the data returned by your phone's hardware compass. Please check your location settings and calibrate the compass by following the instructions on the screen in AR mode.

The app and content are good. It feels a bit misleading, however, to pay £2.99 and then immediately be told that you need to pay another £2.99 if you want all the content. Just be upfront and charge £6 for the app. Sneaky double charging is a bit off putting.

The fact that the app offers in-app purchases is clearly specified on the app's description page on the Google Play store, you are welcome to read ;)

What’s new

We've added a cool new feature called Smart Scope or Central Caption. It shows the name of celestial objects right in the center, so you don't have to tap anything to find out what you're looking at.

We've also put in a ton of work behind the scenes to make everything smoother. And we've fixed the compass!

Running into glitches? Just hit up our support team and we'll sort it out.
