Just checked, nothing has improved since 14/7 when I wrote the following: The app no longer works! StarChart is my favourite astronomy app for aiding me when looking at the night sky, BUT ever since a system update on my phone to android 12, the app no longer works. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, I don't know how to fix it. Such a huge loss, that it no longer works! It has to do with: allow location for geopositioning. Please fix it.

I am no astronomer but needed this app for night photography. But when compared with another one I tried first, it is not bombarding me with adds on every command; to chaotic to appreciate anything good about that other app. This is add free and still completely usable...at least for night photography. You get to plan optimum times to shoot the Milky Way and other celestial bodies. So photographers should be happier with this one, but how would I know? I don't. Do I? Do you smart person?

Star Chart used to work beautifully. I loved this app. It had been a couple months since I last used it. I tried now since I really wanted to see the planets lined up. App won't open, just a black screen. Uninstalled and reinstalled, still doesn't work. Luckily I hadn't bought anything in the app previously.
