Honestly I love waze. I've been using it for over a decade. Lately the speech search is awful. It's choosing where it wants to go that sounds similar, not verifying, and it's wrong almost every time. If I type in the address manually, it works just fine. Frustrating for a user who mostly interacts with it through android auto

This app is a big disappointment..! Although it has some very attractive features, it has begun to not issue verbal navigation instructions. There seems to be no way to correct this in spite of following the documented instructions. What is most puzzling is that sometimes Waze 'Speaks' and at others it doesn't..! This is typically after an uninstall, followed by a reinstall.

Navigation volume control is not working. I have tested and concluded that the root cause is Waze. I have tested on an alpine x409 head unit and a Subaru stock head unit. Both have separate volume controls for tuner and navigation. I also tested using MS maps which allows controls to operate separately. This had been working in the past . UPDATE: Waze's response is after 6 years using Waze on an Alpine x409, it is no longer on the compatibility listl Really? Not the help I was expecting
