The year is 2065 AD. The Earth is infested with alien spirits, and mankind faces total extinction. Impressive CGI. The high complexity of the environment and backgrounds in the movie makes scenes look natural. Character movements were obtained through motion capturing. The plot feels absurd if you do not believe in the religion of Gaia theory. It also falls to the usual stereotypes of love, villains, good and bad, etc. Giving it 5 stars out of 5 because of the impressive CGI.

In its time, utterly ground breaking visuals and a hint of what the future of CGI may be, now still a pretty decent watch. Hint: don't count on a great storyline, it's feeble at best and serves only as a platform to deliver the stunning visuals, which frankly should be enough already...!

Buena película, con buenos gráficos (aún hoy en día), aunque su historia hubiese quedado mejor como parte de un videojuego más de la saga. Al salir en película, se hace un poco tedioso y complicado de seguir su no conoces algo de Final Fantasy.
