Thomas Watson

Thomas Watson (ca. 1620-1686) graduated from Emanuel College, Cambridge, where he was known for being a diligent student. He was a man of considerable learning, a popular but judicious preacher, and eminent in the gift of prayer. He pastored at St. Stephen's Walbrook in London. After being ejected from his pulpit in the Puritan purge of 1662, he continued to minister in London for many years.
