She has worked as a scientist, teacher, entertainment columnist, consumer reporter, news reader, and copywriter. She writes the Second Chance Cat Mystery series under the name Sofie Ryan. The titles include The Whole Cat and Caboodle, Buy a Whisker, A Whisker of Trouble, Telling Tails, The Fast and the Furriest, No Escape. She also writes the Magical Cats Mystery series under the name Sofie Kelly.
