Russell Glass

Russell Glass is the GM and SVP of ZoomInfo's Search business unit.
He is responsible for product management and marketing for
www.zoominfo.com, as well as developing the business plan and managing
the rollout of ZoomInfo's advertising products. In this role, Glass'
team launched the world's first business information search engine and
continues to enhance the user experience while increasing traffic to
the site. Under his leadership, in April 2007 ZoomInfo.com was ranked
the fastest growing network in the country, with 276% annual growth by
Nielsen/NetRatings.
Previously, Glass was vice
president of products and marketing, and was responsible for ZoomInfo's
yearly marketing-driven revenue and product management. In that
capacity, he increased lead generation revenues by over 600% while
cutting costs and launched six new products in two years.
Prior
to joining ZoomInfo, Glass was the CEO and founder of AGEA Corporation,
a wireless middleware and messaging company that he led to an
acquisition by Avalon Digital Marketing Systems.
Glass is a semi-prolific blogger,
is quoted often in the media and has spoken at industry conferences
including DEMO 2007, Red Herring CMO and the 2007 Semantic Technology
Conference. He has BSE from Duke University in Mechanical Engineering
and Economics.
