Judy Schachner is the author/illustrator of the wildly popular Skippyjon Jones series, The Grannyman, and Yo, Vikings! Ms. Schachner had a Siamese cat named Skippy who served as the inspiration for Skippyjon Jones. She lives in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania with her family and their pets.
