Joseph Cowley

JOSEPH COWLEY was born October 9, 1923/ A graduate of Columbia University, he was a bombardier with the Eighth Air Force during World War II, was awarded the Bronze Star. He earned his M.A. from Columbia in 1948 and taught at Cornell University before working as an editor at the Research Institute of America. He retired in 1982 to devote himself to his own writing.
