Gavin Edwards

Gavin Edwards is an American writer. A contributing editor for Rolling Stone, he is the author of eight books, including the acclaimed 2013 biography of River Phoenix, Last Night at the Viper Room: River Phoenix and the Hollywood He Left Behind and the New York Times bestseller VJ:The Unplugged Adventures of MTV's First Wave. Edwards has written four books on mondegreens and has contributed to The New York Times and Wired, among other publications.
