Dr. Nandini BasisthaDr. Nandini Basistha is working as Assistant Professor of South Asian Studies, Department of History, Kurukshetra University, Haryana, India. She has done M.A. (First Class Second) and M. Phil. in South and Southeast Asian Studies from Calcutta University. She got her Doctorate from the Department of Political Science, University of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. She was the recipient of Post Doctoral Fellowship from the Institute of Foreign Policy Studies, Calcutta University, UGC-SRF and UGC-JRF from Rajiv Gandhi Chair in Contemporary Studies, University of Allahabad. She co-edited a book, Changing Dimensions of Social Justice in New Global Era (Co-edited with Dr. Kamlesh Gupta & Trivikram Tiwari, New Delhi: Pentagon Press, 2012). She has presented papers at numerous seminars (around 40) in India and abroad like the United Kingdom, Singapore etc. Her research articles (around 20) were published at many internationally-reputed journals and books in different languages like Italian, English, Bengali, etc. She has expertise at Indian Politics, Separatism, Social Justice, Refugee and Minority issues.
