Carla Norton

Carla Norton is a licensed and ordained minister of the Disciple of Christ Christian Church and a Board Certified Chaplain. She has a Doctorate in Faith and Health and Counseling. She has worked with both pediatrics and adults facing difficult health challenges and has worked with Hospice, Palliative Care and in acute care hospitals. She provides compassionate and empathetic care to families coping with challenging health issues, grief and loss and also offer compassion and grace to healthcare workers to build their resilience as they work each day in this changing pandemic climate. Carla served outpatients and families covering five counties in Tennessee and northern Mississippi working with the pediatric arm of hospice and palliative care called QoLA Kids (Quality of Life For All Kids). This collaboration exists between Methodist Alliance, St Jude Children's Research and Le Bonheur Children Hospitals. Her ability to engage children and adults from diverse faith beliefs and various populations made her an excellent fit.Carla is a strong believer in faith and acknowledges the great impact that faith has on health. She is an advocate for wellness in body, mind and spirit and encourages mental wellness through building healthy relationships with others, with God and being true to self.Dr. Carla Norton and her husband are the proud parents of two amazing young adults.
