Brian Yuzna

Brian Yuzna is a key figure in horror. From the Re-Animator series to "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" and the Fantastic Factory label he has produced, written and directed award winning films in North America, Europe and Asia. Born in the Philippines and raised in Central America, he lived in the southeast of the United States before beginning his film career in Los Angeles. Soon he was producing films in Italy, Canada and Spain using international crews and collaborating with some of the most talented directors and actors in the horror and fantastic genre. His adaptations of Japanese anime led him to live in Asia and create the Komodo Films label in Indonesia after producing a successful series of films in Barcelona, Spain. His work in the film business extends beyond the creative as he is also involved in the financing of movies and is a partner in an international sales company. Brian began working with John Penney on their classic "Return of the Living Dead 3" and their latest produced film is the giant sea creature film, "Amphibious 3D." Brian Yuzna s credits include: "Society," "The Dentist," "Crying Freeman," "Darkness, Faust: Love of the Damned," "Necronomicon," "From Beyond and Tukut: Faces of Fear." He has created a series of comic books entitled "Horrorama" distributed in Europe and America. The Pope is his first novel."
