Fun and fast read. Rachel was very subdued but Bobbie helped her become more confident. Nice characters. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).

Bobby had been teasing the mated pairs in his clan - one way of dealing with being the odd man out. And then the sisters and mother to the mate to his alpha came to visit the new babies. Even though she is much younger than he is, Bobby feels an immediate connection to Rachel. Naturally he doubts it - she is barely 18. But....... When she confirms the potential mate attachment, they ask and receive permission to explore it. Turns out she is more than willing - and the thing that might hurt her most is the waiting. Nasty surprises - like exiled Daddy dearest, and the much older man he sold Rachel to as a virgin bride. Mated pairs, with a strong Alpha, and strong women in he clan, turn out to be a good place for Rachel, and a pace where she and Bobby can grow together. A very entertaining and heartwarming romance about a shifter that had given up only to find what he longed for in the most unexpected place... Life happens when it happens as they say... really enjoyed this sweetly sexy, emotionally thrilling and engaging journey.
