Good book. Needs work though. Could be a great series but the author needs to slow down a bit and develop instead of rushing things. This author is very creative and has a lot of interesting ideas just needs to pare them down and expand upon them one at a time. These men can jump tall buildings but never does she expand upon that, also they are super strong but you never really see her expand that idea or show case it. Yet this would help develop these charectors. A good editor could make a best seller.

I was lured by the synopsis which was more exciting than the book. The story line was good and the book could have been exciting. I was into the book as it was building up and then Tordin and Kyra met and had this so called "connection" with a dash of chemistry then it became boring and she was such an immatured needy 29 year old woman. I found it so disappointing and reluctant to buy the 2nd book.

If you don't worry too much about story arches and don't quibble about details then you can find this fun and entertaining. Like an episode of star trek written by a love struck teenager. The characters are likeable and you feel secure in the predictable happy endings. Bring on the next quickie.
