I loved how this time Linny grew up around Bullard's crew and is part of the family via her Uncle Dave and literally everyone knows that Fallon and Linny have feelings for each other but neither have ever acted on them until now. We are kept guessing if the dead body that turns up in front of the compound is just linked to Linny or if those after Bullard and his men is behind it. I loved Linny's determination not only to be there with the guys especially after learning what her stalker was doing but also that she decides to push Fallon to finally admit if he feels the same for her and what he will do about, while I also get why Fallon has been so resistant to showing how he really feels about Linny. While trying to track down the links between everything Linny, Fallon and Quinn come across some weird characters, quiet a few bodies, plenty of danger and heart stopping moments (I will never look at another cast iron frying pan the same again) along with more answers as to who's behind everything and not knowing what the outcome of Dave's trip will be. Another hit in the brilliant "Bullard's Battle" series, this is a standalone book but I would suggest reading the series in sequence to get the most enjoyment. Bullard was head of a security team based in Africa, his plane was blown from the sky and Bullard was still missing, five of his team members had been attacked. Fallen Carter and Quinn Santos had returned to the Africa base to help look for clues and continue the search. Dave was Bullard's right hand man but he had to leave the compound leaving his niece Linny with Fallon and Quinn, Linny's parents had been murdered when she was fifteen and her Uncle Dave had stepped in to look after her and eventually put her through medical school. There was a history and an attraction between Linny and Fallon, everyone knew this but Fallon's code of ethics made him determined not to take it any further........Linny had other ideas. The body of a man who had perused Linny was found at the gates of the compound, the security alarms had been tampered with, was someone after Linny and if so why ? Was someone trying to take over Bullard Security ? Why were artistic pictures of Linny turning up everywhere ? The body count was escalating, the local police were getting fed up of the calls to pick them up. What was happening in Africa, all their lives were in danger, where was Bullard ? Does Linny get her wish with Fallon ? can Fallon resist the chemistry between them ?. I am so looking forward to Quinn's story' I received a free copy of this book and my review is voluntary I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the sixth book in the Bullard Battle series. Bullard is the owner of a security company based in Africa. Someone is trying to take out everyone on his team. The first book starts with a plane blowing up in the ocean. Two of the passengers were rescued and Bullard went missing. Each member of the team that works on finding out who is behind the crash, ends up having to survive an attempt on their own life. This book didn’t have as much action as some of the other books in the series, but it made up for it with a love story and a creepy stalker. Before the story ends, Fallon discovers more leads for the team to follow. The team is getting close to finding out the answers, so they can stop looking over their shoulder. The epilogue usually gives a peek into the next book. I was so excited to find out what is going to happen in the next book that I was disappointed that it had to end. Now I can wait to see where the next book takes us. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
