I fell hard for Xander, he is my idea of a book boyfriend as he ticked all the boxes for me. I admired Tori and everything she achieved. I loved the development of their relationship as they moved from friends to lovers in what started out as a fake relationship and the completion of a pact they made when they were teenagers. Ms. Coll had me invested from the start with characters that were easy to relate to and easy to like.

Wild Promises is the fourth book in the Wilde Brothers series. This story features Xander, the fun and carefree Wilde brother. This is my favorite book trope - best friends to lovers in a fake relationship. Xander’s best friend, Tori, returns home and reminds him of a marriage pack they made to each other when they were younger. This was an enjoyable steamy, heartfelt romance. I loved their unexpected chemistry and how they navigated through their family's expectations, perceptions and discovering their own self worth and happiness. I highly recommend this book and I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
