About this ebook

Brimming with characters you can't help but fall for and off-the-charts chemistry, this is TikTok sensation Emily Henry doing what she does best!

-----

Two exes. One pact.
Could this holiday change everything?

Harriet and Wyn are the perfect couple - they go together like bread and butter, gin and tonic, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

Every year, they take a holiday from their lives to drink far too much wine with their favourite people in the world.

Except this year, they are lying through their teeth, because Harriet and Wyn broke up six months ago. And they still haven't told anyone.

But the cottage is for sale, so this is the last time they'll all be here together. They can't bear to break their best friends' hearts so they'll fake it for one more week.

But how can you pretend to be in love - and get away with it - in front of the people who know you best?

I found this all a bit juvenile, everything could have been resolved in about 30 minutes if any of the characters had actually told the others the truth at any point, instead they all run around making assumptions and indulge in a lot of navel-gazing. Truthfully, I didn't warm to either Wyn or Harriet. Sorry, just not for me this one. I was offered an ARC of this novel by the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

A good rom-com. the main couple are fun to follow, it's vibrant, it's always moving, and the writing is very sweet and vulnerable. I did think there were too many characters. I couldn't track them all, and group scenes didn't feel good to read. The main couple were a good anchor-point though, so generally it's a fun read!

pretty good, I enjoyed her other books, Book Lovers, & Beach Read, much more. Just a more interesting story line, but I enjoy her writing style quite a bit.
