A truly good quality read. Almost my favourite fantasy book I've ever read. great world building and subtle releases of knowledge and plot twists throughout. Keeps you engaged until the end. Nice touch to have multiple narrator perspectives too, which make more sense the more you read. Loved the relationships in here, the friendships and romance vibes were written really well. Each character I can feel is written by the author as they all have a similar 'voice' but otherwise no flaws in this book.

One of the most beautifully written fantasy books I've read in a long time. Our protagonist is multifaceted and the author accurately describes the feeling of living with DIDS, dissociative amnesia and PTSD, a trait that is unique and not one I've encountered before in any other series, leaving us with a fleshed out and compelling character that leaves us wanting to unravel more about her backstory. This book is the start of a new series that walks the line between titans like Sarah Maas and Brandon Sanderson. I am hooked.

Love the world building. The slow burn 🔥 of the characters, and I enjoyed the bittersweet feelings of lost love. A must read.
