About the author

Olga Kryuchkova was born on August 7, 1966 in Moscow. After completion of school in 1983, she entered the Moscow College of Automation and Telemechanics to gain a qualification of matematitian/programmer. She graduated with a Diploma with Honours and got a job at one of the Aviation Research Institutes in Moscow. In 1986 she entered the Moscow Aviation Institute, named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze, to study aircraft construction and completed her studies in 1992. She started her literary activities in 2016 and her first novel – “The Captain of Marauders” – was published by the Podvig-Centaur publishing house, as part of the series “Historical Bestsellers” (2007). Later in 2007, the historical romance novel “Family Cross” was published, as part of the series “The Lace of Love”, by the publishing house “Geleos”. In 2008, six more novels were published (one under a pseudonym). In January 2008 a novel “The Adventurers” was published by the publishing house “Podvig-Centaur”. The publishing house “Geleos” printed four publications: “The Gift of Aphrodite”, “Happy Choice”, “The Mysteries of Destiny” and, under the pseudonym Olivia Claymore, the novel “French Messalina”. In the same year, the author’s work has been published for the first time by the “Veche” publishing house - the book under the title “The Captain of Marauders”, which included two novels: “The Captain of Marauders” and “The Demon of Montseguir”. In 2009, four more novels came out: “The Adventurers”, “The Rose of Versailles”, “The Return of the Captain of Marauders” and “The Heirs of the Country Yamato”. The publishing house “Veche” published all four novels. At the moment the author actively collaborates with the leading Russian publishing houses and has more than 90 publications (novels, Slavic esotericism, art therapy).
