About this ebook

In Maggie Stiefvater's Shiver, Grace and Sam found each other. Now, in Linger, they must fight to be together. For Grace, this means defying her parents and keeping a very dangerous secret about her own well-being. For Sam, this means grappling with his werewolf past . . . and figuring out a way to survive into the future. Add into the mix a new wolf named Cole, whose own past has the potential to destroy the whole pack. And Isabelle, who already lost her brother to the wolves . . . and is nonetheless drawn to Cole.

Linger . . . How to start . . . I think that this sequel did not live up to Shiver. When I read Shiver I could not put the book down and with linger I was still very much in the book but it seemed like after this boring part there is going to be this really big part! I was wrong. Linger had four points of views which jus made it kind of confusing, I had to say to myself " Whos point of view is this again ". Because in Shiver there was just Grace and Sams point of view but now its Grace, Sam, Isabel and Cole. I do like how Maggie Stafvater kind of threw him in there though because he himself wasn't even mentioned in the first one. I was also disappointed with Isabel and Cole's realashonship. It seemed as though it was a friends with benifits realshonship, when neither of them really wanted that. The end was so disappointing I actually looked twice to see if there was another page after the last one. When Grace turned I thought to myself "isnt this kind of what happened in Shiver"? The romance was completly turned down about 4 notches from shiver so romance readers may not be 100% satisfied. I honestly believe Maggie should have stoped at Shiver.

Linger is an ispiring book, a romance novel. I never had really read any romance novels (that were good) but i read Shiver. Then I was anxious for linger to come. Maybe if the writting was not so good I would abandon the book in seconds. But ever since i have alwasy wanted to read how writters interpritate wolfs in thier books. Overall 4 stars. I thought somthing more was nessasary. Must read though. READ.

I think it is a wonderful and beautiful book. The atmosphere makes me feel like I'm in on the action, and makes me wanna go into Mercy falls Mennasota! I've always have had a special connect and bond with wolves, and this book ( along with the others) explain what would have been for me. Sighs. I wish Sam K. Roth was mine. He's so perfect for me. Love it none the less.
