Kendall is forced into the Galaxy Brides to settle her father's debts. Alek, a Qurilixen dragon shifter lord, has been waiting years for his mate. Their ceremony doesn’t follow the traditional path & Alek worries this doesn't bode well for their future. She wants to get back to her sister which is at odds with his goal of convincing her they are mates. Part of the story is parallel to the previous book, but doesn’t add much about the Tyoe threat. Nice read, but not an overly memorable one for me

This story brought an interesting twist to the galaxy brides coming to meet potential mates with the Draig. What a situation Kendall found herself in! I enjoyed watching Alek and Kendall meet and go through the mating ceremony process albeit with a few deviations along the way. Life in space with aliens all around just shows how there is not a linear path in life for anyone. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Kendall Haven's life turns upside down when she';s sold to the highest bidder to fuel her gambler father losses. Lord Alek, resigned to a lonely life, he attends the bridal ceremony out of familial duty. Another mating ceremony where the groom is convinced that it won't be his turn yet still fate seems to lead him to his mate. I liked the chemistry between these two more than the previous books, though kept wanting both of them to explain themselves, it would have saved so much bother. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
