Books by Sarah Morgan have enough difference from each other that you really never know what you're going to get. This was women's fiction with a romantic element. The basis of the story was definitely the individual growth of the two women in the story, Joanna and Ashley, after they are brought together by an accident involving Joanna's ex-husband and Ashley. Because of his life in the spotlight, the media is now pursuing both women. The result is an unusual friendship between the two and a journey back to Joanna's past...a past that smacks her right in the face. This was a glorious story of owning your past, family in all forms, accepting yourself and of course, love! Thanks to the author for the gifted copy. All thoughts are my own.

Another terrifically moving tale from an author who always writes beautifully.Sarah Morgan always writes the most wonderful feel-good stories, and I relish each and every one. There are secrets galore hiding in these pages and it’s a slow release. Such a lot going on with characters who exude warmth and understanding and kindness galore – definitely my kind of story! Enthralling from beginning to end, the author has excelled yet again. An absolutely delightful read

Joanna Rafferty Whitman has been divorced from her philandering celebrity chef husband for over a year when he is killed in an auto accident. Unfortunately, he has a young woman, Ashley Blake, with him in the car. From the beginning of the book, Joanna shows her heart for other people and how much she sincerely cares about their troubles.
