So often I've heard pastors and preaxhers talk about what the bible meant, what the story is a metaphor for, and how to live in a way that complies with the teaching but is not too different from how you live now. Ryan takes the word of God at face value and asks his readers to do the same. This is a great book that will push the reader to really decide how much of God's message on money they really believe.
About the author
Ryan Thomas Holladay (writing as Ryan Thomas) grew up in California and was educated at Wheaton College (BA Philosophy), Union Theological Seminary (MA Theology), and NYU School of Law (JD). He then served as the lead pastor of Lower Manhattan Community Church in New York City for ten years. Currently, Ryan lives in Kigali, Rwanda, with his wife and four daughters.
