About the author
Karen Farrington is a writer and former Fleet Street journalist who has specialised in the study of conflict throughout the 20th century. She marked the 50th anniversary of the end of the Second World War with the publication of Eyewitness to World War II, compiled from scores of interviews with veterans from around the world, many of whom contributed to this book.
