Smash - verb: violently breaking into pieces.

One date with the wrong man is all it takes to open my eyes.

I’m in love with Grayson Bennett.

My best friend. My confidant. My protector.

The man who treats my son like his own.

Friendship is no longer enough.

I want more.

More of him.

More of us.

More of…everything.

And Gray wants the same.

He calls me his everything.

My son and I are his future.

For one brief moment in time, things are perfect.

Until a visit from my ex turns my world into a nightmare.

Drowning in countless questions with no answers, I struggle with the truth of my past.

Demons threaten to not only destroy me, but also to decimate my forever with Gray.

People always say love is the strongest force on the planet.

But this time, I’m not sure if even love is enough to defeat the darkness.

This is book three in The Trojan series and it is Daisy and Gray's story and omg what an emotional story it is. Daisy and Gray have been best friends for a long time and he absolutely loves Daisy's son Henry as if he was his own son and they all spend a lot of time together and as his feelings for Daisy grows into love he doesn't know what to do as he is afraid that if he tells her he will loose her and he is not prepared to loose them both from his life so at the moment he just feels like his life is in limbo waiting for the right time to tell her how he feels. Daisy is a single mum to Henry and his life hasn't been easy but having Gray always in her corner helps make her life better and he is the best man that she as ever known but when she realised that her feelings had turned into love she doesn't know what to do as she can't loose his friendship because it means everything to her and Henry so now everything is so complicated but what can she you do about it and still keep him in there lives. There are twists and turns along the way and that is what makes this book a real page turner and so addictive that I couldn't put this book down. S M West is an amazing author and writer and I can't wait to read more books in the future. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the third story in the "Trojan" series. It is a stand alone read. Not having read the previous two stories I had no problem reading this one. It is a really good friends to so much more story about a single mother and a man that has been there for her since her sons birth. This is a nicely developed story with some suspense, passion, romance and good twists and turns. I am completely hooked with this new author. It this first book I have read SM West and I plan to go pick the prior two stories in the "Trojan" series.
