Don't look away. You may miss something. I learned that lesson with my first Avery Flynn novel. She writes miniature movies. Fast paced, sexy and mysterious. His Undercover Princess follows that format. Thrilling- A princess on the run meets her match. Sexy- With a hero named Dom that exudes strength and control, the pheromones are through the roof. Mysterious- Full of twists, action and intrigue. I received an ARC of His Undercover Princess in exchange for an honest review. Elle and Dom are an explosive combination. Lust, danger and action steer this collision course over the edge.

Elle Olsen is head stylist at Dylan’s, a posh department store, and her boss brings her a gorgeous male specimen to be outfitted with a winter wardrobe. Elle is in lust at first sight. Elle is in fact a princess in hiding, she fled to the United States 10 years ago when a coup in her home country of Elskov. Things unravel quickly as the Nordic god kidnaps her, even though she fights him off as best as she can. However he is not of the Fjende, the enemy, Dominick Rasmussen is part of the Resistance and he’s there to protect Elle and get her back on the throne as Queen, which is the last thing Elle wants. Avery Flynn has created a very convincing fictional kingdom in Elskov, and the political intrigue feels just as real. Both Elle and Dominick are true alphas, they butt heads on just about everything relating to Elskov; the only time they agree is when giving in to their mutual attraction, which leads to very sexy times indeed. And they lived happily ever after… or do they? Stay tuned for that epilogue! Ms. Flynn is in fine form and keeps us entertained until the very last page, and then some! I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A very entertaining read that grabs your attention right away. After witnessing the death of her father, Princess Eloise escapes her country and has been living in obscurity in the US for the last 10 years. She's had to work hard to rebuild her life but she's done it. Then one afternoon everything changes. Eloise is kidnapped by the difficult customer she's been helping. Dominick Rasmussen intends to take her back to her country and have her take the throne as she was always meant to. Problem is she has no desire to return to her old life. These two may not agree on many things but the one thing that can't deny is the sizzling chemistry between them. There are too many things that could ultimately keep them apart though. Can they get past all that and find a way to have it all. I would recommend this one for a light relaxing afternoon read.
