As the mystery in the Temple of Anubis gets deeper and more complex, at least Ani’s personal life untangles itself a bit. Though, that might bring new and unexpected complications with it. I’m loving the sweetness of the developing relationship with Nik and I can’t wait to see how things progress from here. I’m also fascinated by Ani’s growing Blessed powers and I’m very curious to learn more about everything she’ll be able to do. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Nik and Ani finally admit their feelings for each other. However there is an issue with the bodies disappearing and reappearing with paid amulets missing. This segment of the story ends with them going to higher power for help. I liked the look into regular people's lives in the story.

Graduation looms…The apprentices are finishing their first year of study and will soon take their vows. Ani and Nik are still investigating the corruption him the temple and it may reach higher than they thought. They started as enemies and now are more than friends. This series is drawing me in more and more. I enjoy what I am learning about Egyptian culture, especially care of the dead, even though it now is in the “present”. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.
