love the Kingsbrier family stories. This Legacy series standouts on its own but especially this book. It is a regular theme of a famous and successful singer, who meets a wholesome cook, BUT is nothing regular about this relationship. It is a full, drawn out detailed romance. Beneath the facade of fame lies anger, hurt, betrayal and deceit. Isaiah has it all, but in trying to do the right thing, at the right time, for himself and others has left him with little morally and exposes the world of entertainment at its worst and its best. The greed for money, for adoration, for sustaining the fantasy in need of good publicity. It is draining and relentless. Cassidy has suffered disappointment, accepted less, settled for second best, but has her doubts yet remains true to herself. She still has to find and cement her place within the family business, as her position as cook at the B&B places her on the fringe. Despite this, her life is calm and relatively drama free until an unexpected guest

I think I fell in love with this story just as hard as Isaiah and Cassidy fell for each other. The characters are so well formed and well rounded that they are like old friends. I love Cassidy's family and Isaiah's close team. The emotions that the story evokes are so deeply embedded in my heart that I feel like I am never going to feel whole again after reading the end. This is definitely a five star read. It is hard to offer my honest opinion without providing spoilers, but I will say Aria tore my heart into little pieces while the love between Isaiah and Cassidy stitched it back together. I thank the author for an advance copy.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author and all I can say is WOW! I’ll definitely be reading the previous books in this series plus the Kingsbrier Quintuplets series as well. I loved Isaiah and Cassidy’s story. They first meet when he stays at Kingsbrier. She is the chef at the Inn and is on vacation. I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say that the chemistry between them is electric. Isaiah has secrets but he’s doing what he thinks is right. If you want a book to keep you flip
