About this ebook

A FREE Viking Omegaverse Romance from Bestselling Author Nora Ash.

Enjoy this steamy Reverse Harem with five Norse Alpha Gods vying for dominance over their reluctant Omega mate. Primal, possessive romance and dominant heroes who have to learn to share nicely. Or perhaps not so nicely.

Five possessive gods and the end of mankind. That's my fate.

I always thought the end of the world was a myth. But then, I also thought Norse gods were make believe too.

They’re not.

Five powerful Viking gods are coming for me. They claim I will only survive if I surrender to them, body and soul.

But they don’t realize it’s about so much more than carnal servitude. I am so much more than they could ever suspect. So much more than even I knew.

I am the only one who can stop Ragnarök from covering the world in ice and darkness. The only one who can save gods and men alike from annihilation.

And in the shadows lurks betrayal so deep it will change the fate of the world...

Ragnarök Rising is the first novel in the Reverse Harem Viking series The Omega Prophecy.

~Glorious God mayhem~ —>>> Myths, magic, glorious Alphas who are pitted against each other. For many centuries, five demi-gods have been waiting the appearance of their fated mate. When Annabel Turner arrives in Iceland intending to delve into Norse history for her doctorate degree, she ends up running from her hosts, the Lokisson sons Saga, Bjarni and Grim right into the eye of a storm, thinking she was going to feature in a pagan sacrifice. Instead, the claiming of her as an Omega by five Alphas and its purposes are revealed to her…and revolve around her and her Alphas. But biting at everyone’s heels is the Ragnarök event, indicated already by the Fimbulwinter storm she almost perished in, if not for Magni and his claiming of her. So Annabel supposedly does have a choice, but a monumentally heavy one, to make for the greater good of all realms, it seems, and all three of Loki’s sons cannot wait to claim her. However, first they have to deal with Thor’s sons, Magni and Modi as well as other unforeseen forces, because this is one Omega female who is definitely worth fighting for.

Omegaverse with a twist. Here we have not one, not two but FIVE Alphas vying for the heroine. Personally, a jealous/possessive hero is my favorite type of hero, thus my enjoyment of Omegaverse as it is the norm for this genre, however, this is the first time I read a RH (Reverse Harem) Omegaverse book and I was a bit sceptical how it would work. Would there still be that element of possessiveness? Heck yes!!! The author managed pull it off extremely well and I loved it! Annabel, the human heroine, must suddenly accept that she is destined to have 5 mates, the Norse Gods exist & are not just part of some fairy tale AND she also has to help prevent the end of the world/s (Ragnarök) & everyone in it. The heroes (Saga, Bjarni, Grim, Magni and Modi) are the sons of Loki and Thor and all come across as alpha-holes, with the exception of Bjarni, and I found myself first rooting for one and then changing my mind and rooting for the other – you will see exactly what I mean once you read the book. I must add that although Modi is mentioned in this book, he has not yet made an appearance and without giving away too much, I can’t wait to read more about Grim (love a bit of darkness). Ragnarök Rising is the start of a new trilogy, written from a multiple pov with an easy flow to it and has good steamy scenes. I consider this book to be a fast burn because things do get heated quite quickly, but then it cools off only to end on a HOLY HOTNESS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥level once again. It contains magic with large alphas (everywhere 😲🍆) and there is forced seduction to a degree -- “no, but yes please”. I really recommend you give it a read if you enjoy a well-written Omegaverse. However, please be aware that it does end in a cliffhanger and as I write this review, I will be anxiously waiting to hear when the next book releases. I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

This is a very entertaining Omegaverse romance featuring several gods and demi-gods of Norse mythology. In a time when Omegas are scarce, Annabel, raised as a Beta, has had the luxury of gaining an education and enjoying her independence. Never a fan of overbearing, insufferable Alphas, she’s therefore surprised by her innately strong attraction to the Lokissons brothers when she arrives in Iceland on vacation. The discovery that the secretive brothers have lured her to Iceland to play a vital role in the coming Ragnarök sets Annabel’s life on a path that’s full of danger and otherworldly adversaries. Can she convince her Alphas to accept that there’s more to her beyond their inherent preconceptions of Omegas? The story is very imaginative and well written with interesting and compelling characters. There’s plenty of drama, action and adventure, magic and mythology, betrayals and brutality, plus some snarky banter and humour along with some graphic Alpha/Omega encounters. I’m looking forward to the next installment of this story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review.

About the author

I am Nora Ash, and I write a plethora of different romance books. Some of them are really dirty, some of them are only kinda-dirty, some are paranormal, some are contemporary… Basically, I have a rampant imagination and no way of controlling it, except from just writing down whichever idea pops into my head at the time.

The one thing my books always have in common, though? A great story and a guaranteed HEA. Even if sometimes it takes a couple of books to get there!

I’m originally from the cold North (AKA Scandinavia) but these days I live in rainy England with my amazing fiancé and our two pesty cats.

When I’m not writing, I’m probably reading, watching Real Housewives of Wherever (reality tv it’s my shameful addiction) or hiking in whatever bit of woodland I can find.

Three fun facts about me:

1) I once ran away with a traveling circus
2) I’m a decent rider (English style only, though)
3) I’m bilingual. Almost-kinda trilingual, but my Spanish is terri-bad these days.
