About this ebook

In the future, there are many parallel Earths—but only one of them has time travel. Known as Primetime, its criminals break into the pasts of other worlds, far beyond the reach of conventional police.

Blake Din is the top agent of the Cutting Room, the group tasked with stopping these trespassers. After a mission to undo the murder of a young boy, he uncovers extensive damage to another world's timeline—and a conspiracy that reaches all the way back to Primetime.

He nails it. Rather than fall into the trap of well trodden tropes and cheap plot copouts, The Cutting Room carefully uses the mechanic to lay clues across worlds and times, highlighting the authors love of history and connecting it to humanity today.

This is quite well done - interesting story, well presented, easy to visualize the various scenes in your own head, and well paced! I've just finished the 1st "book" of this set, but so far I have to say it's well worth purchasing. No typos or wonky grammar - the ONLY "criticism" is that I found some of the sentences to be a bit brief (maybe even terse?). For some reason, I prefer a longer sentence structure, but the flip side is that the shorter sentences do grab you a bit more - so it's personal taste.

he's not a great writer honestly, but he does come up with good stories that keep you interested and overlooking the failings in writing quality.
