The idea that one life has value to the point of being a lifeless physical manifestation around the necks of the sneakiest, out of our league watchers makes me comfortable with the fact that the protagonist was first assaulted in the warm embrace of a hospital bed. I only hope that others will work out the self insertion bit a lot quicker than I did.
