Excellent story that explores what it means to "love your neighbor." As Christians, we are called to be the hands and feet of Christ. The characters in the story are challenged by their pastor to do just that - help their neighbors. The rise to meet the challenge in unexpected ways. I found the story a challenge to myself. It's so easy to live your life in your own bubble. The story explores what happens when you step outside your comfort zone to help others. I love this series. Highly recommend all of them.

Like all of the other books in this series, I finished this in 1 setting. Whether this is your first encounter with these characters, or you've read all of the other books in this series, you will relish your time with them. Like the other books this one focuses on characters that were minor players in the other books & gives you the chance to really get to know them. Sets of twists & turns lead to a very sweet ending & have me anxiously waiting for the next trip to Carver Harbor!
