Wild Ride

I requested a copy of Cathryn Fox's Wild Ride from NetGalley and Entangled in exchange for an honest review. The premise behind the story was actually quite sweet. Jess is the shy introvert scared to take risks. Mac is the guy with the extreme personality whose heart has always belonged to Jess. Although at times the story came across as too revealing, I got what Ms. Fox was trying to do. Wild Ride is a story about trusting your instincts and not making assumptions. There was so much more to each character than what they presented on the outside. Each character has hidden layers.

Whoa! I think my ereader might still be smoking from all the heat in this book! When Tyler MacKenzie and his buddies hatch a plan to invite "the one that got away" up to their ranch for a week, never did he expect the connection with shy reserved good girl Jess to be as intense as it is. She may be shy but if her journal is any indication, she has a wild side as well and he knows just how to bring that side out!! Really enjoyed this one. It may be short but it packs some major steam! I definitely recommend it!

Great series by an exceptional author. It's a shame there aren't women like these in real life. I highly recommend reading the series tho.
