Wicked Wish

I've loved all the Wicked Horse series including the first Wicked Horse Vegas book, but book 2 in the Vegas series, Wicked Wish, I think has surpassed them all. The story sucked me in, masquerade event at the wicked Horse including some pretty intense scenes with Jorinda Pearce and Walsh Brooks as they spend “quality” time together before they discover they are not quite the strangers they thought they were. While Walsh is used to all the sex and kink that the Wicked Horse provides, Jorie is experimenting for the first time, and she sure is enjoying her new found sexual freedom, much to Walsh’s dismay. With all the kink that I've come to expect from the Wicked Horse series, this book was just perfect. Beautifully written with an addictive storyline and wonderful characters, including my favourite alpha male with a heart as the main character. Written in dual POV this story can be read as a standalone, but why would you want to miss out on all the previous books in the series. I received an advanced copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I must confess that as a huge fan of Sawyer Bennett, I often read the blurb for the book and think I know exactly where the story is going to go. With the Wicked Horse series, I have come to expect all the naughtiest proclivities. With Wicked Wish, Sawyer taught me that she cannot be predicted. Jorie and Walsh have known each other since childhood and re-connect at the Wicked Horse at a masquerade event. This chance encounter reunites them under circumstances that are equal parts panty-melting hot, delightfully entertaining and cringe-worthy. Walsh is loyal to his friend and makes a valiant attempt to resist his best friend's little sister. But thank the heavens that Jorie is persistent and sets out to prove to herself and Walsh that she is the champion of her own sexuality. Jorie and Walsh don't see a lot of action inside The Wicked Horse. Instead, the story focuses on the building the chemistry and emotional connection of the characters outside of that setting. Overall, you can expect an engaging story and explosive sexual chemistry while perhaps keeping a few tissues on standby.

5 star Review Wicked Wish (The Wicked Horse Vegas # 2) by Sawyer Bennett This is the second book in the Wicked Horse Vegas series and it was was smoking hot, deliciously naughty and romantic; I loved it. This is a friends to lovers story about Jorinda Pearce and Walsh Brooks. Jorie is devastated when her husband kicks her out, citing her inability to satisfy him as one of the reasons. Determined to prove him wrong, she enlists the aid of her best friend Elena who insists that Jorie should attend the Masquerade party at The Wicked Horse. Jorie is immediately attracted to the masked man, who dares her to take a leap of faith with extremely hot and sizzling results; after all in Jorie’s mind she will never see the man again. Shockingly Walsh Brooks suddenly realizes that the woman who has consumed him tonight is in fact the younger sister of his best friend Micah.; a woman he has long fantasied over. When Jorie realizes that her mysterious man is actually Walsh, she sees no reason not to continue with the hot and naughty sex; after all, she has lusted over him for quite a while. Jorie is drawn to the club and wants to participate in the activities offered which includes BDSM, public sex, voyeurism and pretty much any fantasy you want to try. However, Walsh becomes more protective as he fights his attraction as he knows that Micah will not accept a relationship between Jorie and him. Walsh and Jorie smolder together, the flames burn so hot that you can almost feel yourself combusting. However, it is not just about lust, these two have a history together and it is woven throughout the story in such a way that it enhances the relationship as it develops and I have to say that Walsh and Jorie are one of my favourite couples. Hot, sexy, raunchy, kinky, Wicked Wish has it all. I was riveted from start to finish and dreaded the final word; I didn’t want it to end. I cannot wait for the next book in this series. Congratulation Ms.Bennett you have another winner on your hands.
