Elle James Who’s Your Daddy -Texas Billionaire Club Series– Book 3 Ms. James’ 3rd book in this new series made me laugh, smile and I toughly enjoyed the ride. I started reading Ms. James’ “Take No Prisoners” & “Brotherhood Protectors” Series, (excellent reads). The “Texas Billionaire Club” series is more lighthearted and a lot of fun to read. ‘Who’s Your Daddy” focuses on Rachael Taylor, an accomplished woman who runs her own advertising agency. Rachael is sensible, levelheaded and very pragmatic in everything she does. Now she wants a baby, after all her biological clock is ticking, but she wants this dream without the complications of a relationship or husband. As the book opens, Rachael and her best friend, Genie, are looking at all the “Date-Your-Mate dating service videos. As they review each video of a “potential sperm donor” there was no winner. However, you will hold your sides laughing, just like her best friend Genie did. The losers that came across the screen may have deterred most women to forget the whole goal but not Rachael. Rachael is an advertising executive with her own company after all, so she is more than qualified to writer her own ad in a singles column. From the ad, Texas Billionaire Jesse responds. Rachael can check off all her boxes for a sperm donor, just one problem, Jesse is a client and pragmatic Rachael does not mix business with personal. Rachael has read and heard about Jesse’s bad boy’s image with all the many women he has in his life. As Rachael is determined to continue her journey of finding the right donor that will ‘never be’ Jesse, this only convinces Jesse that she may be worth the chase. Don’t miss this installment to the series. It is worth the journey. “I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.”

Such a funny and witty story! Who's Your Daddy is the third book in the Texas Billionaires Club series but you don't need to have read the other books to enjoy this one; each of them stands alone. I love these two author's books. While individually they usually write a very different type of romance, together they write wonderful romantic comedy stories and Who's Your Daddy is no exception. Rachel desperately wants a baby but she doesn't have time for a relationship so she sets out to find a suitable candidate to be the father. She doesn't want to go to a sperm bank: "Just the thought of having some mystery man’s sperm injected into my uterus gives me the creeps.' All of the candidates who seem suitable on paper turn out to be absolutely wrong. The only man with serious potential, however, is a client and she won't mix business with pleasure. Jesse has been attracted to Rachel from their first meeting but he doesn't know that it's going to be so difficult to get her to break her own rule. This book had several laugh-out-loud moments. One of Rachel's candidates called himself an "animal reconstructive engineer." Another candidate's mother said to her son: "And what pretty babies you'd make, huh? Only I don't know how Rachel could feed them with those little boobies." When Rachel finally comes around to accepting her attraction to Jesse of course something has to happen to mess things up. Never fear, though, these two authors know how to fix everything up and deliver a wonderful HEA (albeit with a little help from Jesse's fellow Texas Billionaires Club members and Rachel's friend Genie). I need to remind myself to read more romantic comedy – but wait! – book 4 in this series is coming in June and I won't dare miss it. An advanced copy of this book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the authors.

Great book, I really enjoyed it. Rachel and Jesse are well written characters who you instantly react to.....they make you laugh, cringe, cry, growl with frustration and melt with lust. Both are very business savvy but neither have great people skills and read almost every situation incorrectly, which makes the book very entertaining as you never know what is going to pop out of their mouth or how they are going to react to each new challenge or situation. This is the third book in the series, however I have not read either of the first two in the series and this had no impact on my enjoyment, it is a complete standalone, the characters from other books do fleetingly appear but there are no continuing story lines to cause confusion. I am now going to go back and read the first two books in the series to see if they are as good as this one. I was sent an ARC of this book.
