I’m desperately curious to find out what’s really going on here. Isla and Milo seem to have far more questions than the answers they’re getting. And the pitchfork-wielding mob has them squarely in their sights. From the outside looking in, it seems obvious to me that someone’s trying to set them up, but who and why? I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author.

Isla invites Milo to live in her house while they investigate to find the real killer of his wife. Neighbors and police still think Milo is guilty and protests about the living arrangements. A package arrives with an item that is a duplicate to what killed Milo's wife. A turn of events. Waiting for what happens next.

Even though Isla bought Milo's house for him, he can't bring himself to live there with what happened to his wife, Nell, which is understandable. So, Isla invites Milo to stay with her, which then makes it easier to work together on who may have murdered Nell. However, the neighbourhood don't seem to like him staying with her....the plot thinkens when Isla receives a mysterious package that is sent to Milo's house. To me....they seem to be getting set up, but by whom?
