This books has several scenes that might cause triggers. Forced is the main one. So if that bothers you then I say skip this book. Craize the main male is very fierce and lethal. There are several fight scenes that too are grafic. He is very Alpha ! And will not take no as an answer from Raeni. He pushes and forces her to do more than she wants but just what she needs. Raeni, is a very confused and lo lonely woman. Not lived by her parents she wants true love. Being and Omega she is coveted by those who only want to abuse her. I liked how she did not just give into Craize being her lifemate. She wanted some choice in the matter. But along this short but turbulent story she learns more about herself as an omega. I liked how she did realize who and what he was to her. This is sorta an HEA. The story does stop so not everything is answered. This was a very strange world and it did take some time to understand everything. Overall it was a good read. got a free copy at booksprout

I'm absolutely new to the V.T. Bonds universe but so far both books I've read blew me away. Reading them feels like becoming friends with those interesting, fascinating, amazing charcters and getting sucked into their lives. You can't help it, the stories are THAT good. That's why I was absolutely thrilled to get a tiny glimpse of a character from a different book while reading Rescued and Ruined. This will definitely not be the last book I've read by this author. I'm hooked!

The writing is good. there is a difference between being sassy and bitchy. I found the heroine bitchy, whiny and uppity. she had zero respect for the hero which in turn made the hero pathetic since he had to endure such treatment. I couldn't finish it because I couldn't stand the girl. I was expecting fireworks and heat and all the feels but the book did not deliver. The plot was brilliant but I was disappointed. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
