With a steady to fast paced and smooth flowing plot, this romance captivates readers with lots of suspense and romance. The reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as Cora is faced with a choice that could be her salvation – it is certainly the choice between the red pill or the blue pill. Of course, the situation is way more complicated than she realizes as the mysterious Mr. Thorne has secrets that means that the life he saves might not be the one that she would have taken. The characters are strong and compelling and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning and their attraction to each other is certainly electric but just because he can compel her doesn’t mean she really wants it. The well written scenes and details capture the imagination and bring this bewitching story to life and the well orchestrated suspense and emotional aspect of the plot draw the reader deeper into the story and ensure they come back for more. The excitement builds as the reader wonders what Cora’s decision will be and just what Mr. Throne has in store for her and especially as she comes to realize just who she’s become involved with. 4 1/2 STARS

but the main character is a little whiny and after 300 pages that gets kinda annoying. it makes me want to reach in and smack her into her senses, BUT besides that love everything else. really good and the story line is wonderful just Cora... she makes me face Palm myself and internally cringe sometimes.

All books were ABSOLUTELY GREAT, loved every bit of it, for us readers,the ones spending all our $$ cuz we just can't stand not getting next book,I myself would love to have books alot longer,I just wanna keep reading &can't cuz gotta get the next book. The whole thing is,there will ALWAYS be a "next' book. So be it,I've got SEVERAL series I'm reading so there's ALOT of next/continuations of ALL the series from different authors I'm reading. Their all good books,I'm hookt on all of em!!
