Unshackle

Loved this book! Plenty of action scenes and I found myself on the edge of my seat more than once with everything that Luke had to do in order to be successful in his mission; which suddenly becomes complicated because of circumstances he wasn't expecting. And I enjoyed the chemistry between him and Vera; hot, sexy, raw. But the background story adds a deliciously dark backdrop for the story. If you've read the previous books in the series, you already know it's going to be a dark read, but it's one I highly recommend.

This was a much-anticipated book 7 of the Deliver series and was definitely worth the wait. The beginning of the book was gripping. I was hooked! Constantly piquing my curiosity about how the rest of the story would play out that I have to keep reading. It keeps me up way too late at night. But I loved it! Unshackle was raw, dark, unapologetic, and beautiful. The characters were developed well with flaws and strengths. They were interesting and I found I was emotionally caring and rooting for Luke and Vera. The pace of the story was fast and really gave the reader an inside glimpse of what's going on at the La Rocha Cartel. Then there's the twist and turns that are superbly written and that I didn't expect. The writing was amazing and the storyline kept me engaged. In the end, you're still ready for more. Don't miss this riveting story. If you've read the previous novels all the better. I absolutely enjoyed this one and highly recommend it for those who are looking for a dark romance read.

Unshackle has you literally shackled to the book. This book is by far my favourite in the series after Vanquish... Unshackle is the 7th book of the Deliver series. Luke goes undercover to look for Vera Gomez (Tulas sister), but he finds someone else much more fiesty and in captive. This book is a dark romance series but can be read as a standalone. This book is a total page turner... It is filled with dominance, a big plot twist, steamy scenes and firecracker of a women.. This book has your emotions literally all over the place, at a point your heart will scream of joy but then the next minute has you praying for help. The end was great, but has you leaving for more!! I won't lie, there were certain plots I figured out right away. However it didn't ruin it for me personally. I love how Pam manages to make each book completely different from the each of the books in the series. You will not be left bored!! 4.75 stars.
