Unavoidable Casualty

Everything seems to be going well for Gibby and Louis. When Louis's friend Doug passes away, they're both shaken by the loss.

Doug leaves Louis his house, but he hesitates to take it. He doesn't want to feel like he's taking advantage of Doug's kindness. Instead, he intends to think about it while he takes Gibby to Alaska for a romantic trip. He's going to look at a golf course, but the time away might help him plan his next steps in life with the woman he loves.

They spend a couple of wonderful nights in a beautiful, secluded cabin. However, the peaceful setting doesn't last long. A wildfire forces them to evacuate just when Louis has made up his mind. He can't wait to move into Doug's house—with Gibby. He plans to propose, but those ideas are foiled by Mother Nature.

Will have a chance to ask her to start a life with him? Or will more obstacles get in the way?
