Two Friends (??? ????????) is an 1853 story by Turgenev. "Two Friends" illustrates Turgenev's skill in weaving narratives about friendship, morality and social contexts. The story revolves around the relationship between the titular two friends, Sergey and Nikolay, who embody different values and perspectives. Their friendship is tested through various ordeals, particularly at the crossroads of personal, moral and social dilemmas.
