First published in the year 1869.The novel describes the adventurous journey of Professor Aronnax and his companions under the sea as virtual prisoners of an eccentric person, Captain Nemo, in his submarine, Nautilius. The Captain hates war and aims to destroy all the warships out in the sea. Under the series ‘Young Readers Classic’, this book is an adaptation of the original novel.
