The best way to describe this book is it's just like sitting and sipping a latte - Cozy and comforting, but not really that exciting! The story was basic, but kept me interested enough to finish it! The characters and their relationships were sweet, but not a lot of depth to them. It felt like there could be a lot more done with it but... I was looking for something that was an easy read and a nice palette cleanser between big fantasy series, and this hit the spot for that!!

I absolutely adored and devoured this despite never really ever being into fantasy before now. I'll be devastated if there isn't a series

Travis Baldree is a full-time audiobook narrator who has lent his voice to hundreds of stories.
