Horrifying and empathetic, written by a born storyteller who also wore a badge, this book outdoes 'In Cold Blood' as probably the best true-crime account ever crafted into book form. If you can take it, you'll never forget it.

Often heard of this book and finally bought it was wonderful read. The story is sad and shows how the justice system is against the victims and a reason why our society is the way it is even today almost 60 yrs from the time of this story so sad but a wonderful book..

I had to read this for my CJ class and I really enjoyed it.
