This is a new author for me. I enjoyed this little romance it made me laugh, smile and kept my interest. I thought the characters were written well and the story flowed along nicely. I enjoyed the twists this story had and the dialogue between Holly and Michael. I am really interested in reading her sister's and his friend's stories now. This is the first book by Maddison Michaels I've read so I came into this experience not knowing the writing style, the world-building, or the creation of characters. Therefore, I had no preconceived ideas or expectations. "The Mistletoe Mistress" is the prequel to the "Saints & Scoundrels" series and quite frankly, was utterly delightful! The world-building kept me in the moment. The characters, Michael and Holly, were absolutely delightful. Their chemistry and absolute quirky personalities kept my interest throughout the story with their antics. I loved this storyline and hope to be able to continue reading through the series as I was lucky enough to receive a copy of this ARC from Booksprout and wanted to give my honest review.

Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and passion, strength, happiness with a happily ever after.
